As a school we also aim to develop an acceptance of the British Values of democracy, the rule of law, mutual respect, fair-mindedness and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.
All classes came together to celebrate William Shakespeare. They performed short extracts from Shakespeare's work. Children really enjoyed this experience and look forward to taking part in the celebrations again next year.
We held our own election in school yesterday (8th June). Pupils in Year 5 formed political parties, created manifestos and presented their manifesto promises to the school. All pupils then voted for the party of their choice. We are pleased to announce that the 'Vision' party won the election. Congratulations to our school's 'Prime Minister' Hannah Dooner who will be discussing her manifesto with School Council over the next few weeks.
