Pupil Premium Strategy
Pupil Premium is additional funding given to schools to enable them to provide additional support to their disadvantaged pupils with the aim of closing the attainment gap between them and their peers. Introduced in April 2011, it is allocated to schools to work with pupils who have been registered for free school meals (FSM) at any point in the last six years. Looked after children and those of service personnel also attract funding.
Schools are required to publish their pupil premium strategy which provides details of how the allocated monies have been spent. Please click on the link below to see Holy Cross' Pupil Premium Strategy document.
