Pumpkin Carving

Class: Reception Year: 2018 - 2019

Mr Allen brought in a humungous pumpkin for us that he had grown on his allotment. We left in on the snack table to talk about and discuss what was inside it. Lots of us thought it would be chocolate (we wished) and some of us thought there might have been a dinosaur inside.  We decided to carve it into a scary face. Miss Mcloughlin cut a hole into the top and let us pull out all of the inside. It was very gooey and wet. It also had big seeds that we can plant again to grow another pumpkin for next year. We loved exploring the inside of the pumpkin with our hands (some more than others).
