Year 6 2025 - 2026
Welcome to the Year 6 Class page!
We are a wonderful year group of 29 children.
Our teacher is Miss Basley and Miss Weldon and Miss Goodier are our teaching assistants
On this page, you will find information about the curriculum and year group expectations in Year 6. We will be aiming to update the website regularly with photographs and information about what is going on in our classroom this year.
We are looking forward to sharing some exciting things this year!
- Please bring PE kits to school in a pump bag and keep on your peg for the half term. We will have PE on Tuesday. Swimming is on Wednesday.
- Homework will be given out on Mondays and is to be returned to school on the Friday.
- This will include a piece of maths work, English work and weekly spellings.
- Spelling tests will be on a Friday afternoon
- We expect children to read daily with at least two sessions being recorded in their reading dairy. Reading books and reading diarys should be in school everyday to support learning.
