Our Church

Holy Cross Church is situated on Corporation Street in St Helens town centre.

​We liaise closely with Liverpool Catholic Archdiocese.  We are a Voluntary Aided Primary School and as such representatives of the church have a strong guiding influence on our school’s mission and future direction.We have Foundation Governors who are appointed by the church.

Holy Cross Holy Door 

On the 8th Decmber 2015 Arch Bishop Malcolm McMahon opened the Holy Door at Holy Cross & St Helen parish. The parish is one of 3 Jubilee parishes for the Year of Mercy in the Archdiocese of Liverpool, the other being the Metropolitan Cathedral and St Mary’s Leyland.  Holy Cross pupils attended the Mass which officially welcomes pilgrims during the Year of Mercy.
